Hello, I am Amy Lewis and I am a theatre director and workshop facilitator originally from Newcastle in the UK

Over the last 20 years, I worked in London, carefully crafting my approach to working with young people and adults.

I have a degree in Theatre and, before relocating to Amsterdam in 2023, worked with young people in schools, colleges, universities and youth theatres across London.

In London I regularly worked with Lewisham Youth Theatre, White City Theatre project, Lyric Hammersmith, Punchdrunk Enrichment & University of the Arts London, co-founded theatre company Awkward City and co-designed & delivered a youth theatre for residents of a housing estate in London.

In Amsterdam, I have worked as the lead teacher for Amsterdam Kids Dance & Drama and as a Teaching Assistant at The British School of Amsterdam.

I am excited to have created Young Theatre Makers here in Amsterdam. I welcome and encourage all young people with any level of experience to get in touch.
